Gracious Living Series
The weather can get drippy to down right pouring. Gracious living is appreciated when:
A passerby offers a large news paper to hold over your head so you can make a dash from the subway/metro into the taxi.
It’s when the rain is pelting off the awnings, the cars are splashing and your mate switches to the outside of the sidewalk so you stay a bit drier.
Graciousness is when the sky “opens up”, you still have to run home after school and your friend offers to share her sari, scarf or umbrella.
Or even when the small shop keeper looks out the door and beckons you to come in until the rain stops and offers you a paper towel to dry your glasses.
